Beacon Center in Englewood, Colorado is a mixed custody jail that houses adult inmates. It has a capacity of 2112inmates.

Sending a Mail/ Package

Inmates in the Beacon Center can get letters from loved ones as long they are pre-approved. All mail will be opened in front of the warders. It would be best if you addressed the letters correctly as the management will not be liable for any lost mail.

Inmates in Beacon Center can get photos, but there is a limit of 25 photos per prisoner. Nonetheless, you cannot send Polaroid or pornographic photos. All photos should be 8X10 or smaller. All packages need prior approval before they are accepted into Beacon Center.

Sending Money

All money sent to an inmate is through their commissary account. You can send money to an inmate’s account via telephone though you will be charged transaction fees. The Beacon Center will also allow you to send money online at a fee of $ 6.95.

The Beacon Center allows cash delivered to the lobby. You will not be allowed to deposit more than $ 200 at a time.

Phone Calls

You are not allowed to call inmates at Beacon Center. However, inmates at the Beacon Center will have an opportunity to call you. Typically, a call will last 20 minutes so that every prisoner gets a chance to use the phone.

Three-way calling is prohibited, and all calls are monitored. An inmate will be prohibited from using the phone if they breach any law.

Visitation

To visit inmate in Beacon Center you have to download, fill, and print a form before you are allowed entry into the prison. You will only get access to the Beacon Center if you get approved. The process takes about three weeks to fully complete. Minors can only visit under the supervision of a guardian.
